4 years … good years

Today I realised that it’s been exactly 4 years since I landed in the UK, with my beautiful wife (and best friend), to move to London and start a new life together.

It was one of the biggest and most scary things I’ve ever done and it really hasn’t been easy but it’s definitely been the best thing I’ve ever done and I couldn’t have done it without my girl.

In the last 4 years I’ve met, worked and made friends with some incredible people … all who have helped welcome me and make this worthwhile.

I feel honoured to be able to live in a city that has so much to offer and still as in love with it as I was when I first came here 12 years ago to visit.

I miss my family like crazy every day which is always hard but I’ll keep working and saving to go back to visit them as much as I can.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who’s ever been cool, for welcoming me, involving me and opening my eyes to this beautiful city … and the world as a whole.

Here’s to many more years in this beautiful country.
