24 March 2015 – My friends in The Blackout have decided to call it a day and tonight they played Koko, as part of their farewell tour, so I documented it for them.
I bloody love these guys and they’re some of the nicest people I’ve met in the industry since I moved to the UK 7 years ago. I’ve seen them play a bunch of shows and spent a lot of time with them while they’re just being human so it’s quite emotional having to say good bye to them as a band.
The show was amazing with such a great setlist and an audience who wanted to take in as much as they can of these last shows. So nice to see so many familiar faces and really appreciate everyone who came to say hi to me.
Thought I’d post a few of my favourite photos from the night.
What a great bunch of people … cannot thank them enough for everything. Sounds so cheesy but the music and memories will live on and I hope that the guys have a bright future doing whatever they end up doing.
