My good friend, Byron, and his new wife, Jane, got married on saturday afternoon and we drove up to Weenen to celebrate with them on this special day. The wedding was a really good one and I shot a few photographs with them after the ceremony. Apart from dodging 10 000 000 mosquitoes and bugs, we were having a good time and just getting into it when we were attacked by a bunch of guys throwing rocks at us. It was seriously pitch black and we couldn’t see anything so it was super scary and we just scattered. Terrible for me and the boys but imagine how rubbish for the bride to run away in a wedding dress with high heels on. That’s Africa for you though. Have to be honest, I am excited to have a break from this place soon when we move to the UK for a while.

Anyway, this post is to congratulate my friends, the new Rodes, and then wish them all the best in the world. Below are just a few of the photographs that we did manage to get done.

Hope you all have a super week, Marcus

    Dude…

These are amazing. So so so rad. You captured everything that we wished you would have and more. Thanks so much for coming all that way while your Anja was so sick, and with so much on your plate before you move to the UK. It meant the world to the both of us. And thanks so much for being such a supportive best man, and for taking these amazing photos of us on our special night.

This night will be etched in our memories forever.

    Chat soon.

    Love
    Byron and Jane
