Seekah Lytess Studio Portraits

I was contacted by Prolific, who manage Seekah Lytess, about creating a new set of press images to help represent him visually and support the growing attention his music has been receiving.

Seekah is a rapper with a thoughtful, poetic style, writing and performing songs rooted in real stories and real experiences. That honesty has clearly resonated with listeners and helped him build a strong connection with audiences across social media.

The brief was to create a set of images that felt authentic to who he is as an artist while also giving the team enough variety for press, editorial and promotional use.

We decided to base the shoot at a studio in North West London that also happened to be close to an outdoor location I knew would work perfectly as a backdrop. This gave us the best of both worlds — clean studio portraits alongside more natural lifestyle images.

The shoot itself felt easy from the start. We had some great conversations throughout the day and worked together really naturally, which always makes for stronger photographs.

The images have already started appearing across press and media platforms, which is always nice to see.
