Xsolla x Stevenage FC for Light Tone Studios
I was commissioned to join the Light Tone Studios team on a campaign created in collaboration with Xsolla, Stevenage FC and SpecialEffect.
The shoot took place at Stevenage FC’s stadium and featured footballer Luther James-Wildin and disability advocate and broadcaster Lucy Webster, both of whom were an absolute pleasure to work with.
The focus of the campaign was resilience — exploring stories of overcoming setbacks, adapting, and finding the strength to move forward again. Throughout the day we filmed interviews and conversations centred around those experiences, and it was a privilege to hear the journeys that had shaped them both.
One story that particularly stayed with me was Rodney’s. Through the incredible work of SpecialEffect and the custom gaming equipment they develop, Rodney has been able to continue gaming despite the challenges presented by his disabilities. Hearing about the impact that technology and accessibility can have on someone’s life was genuinely inspiring.
Alongside the video production, my role was to capture the campaign stills as well as behind-the-scenes moments from the day as the wider team worked around the stadium.
These are a few of my favourite images from the shoot.
