Shine Half Marathon for Cancer Research

Tonight my wife and I (and 17 000 other great people) walked a good distance (21km and 42km) around London to Shine in support of Cancer Research UK and it was one of the nicest ways I’ve seen this city so far.

On arrival I felt pretty emotional reading / hearing peoples stories and reasons for doing the walk but then realised that everyone was in this together and it quickly felt like a massive “family” of people showing their support for their loved ones.

Cancer sucks and we were walking for Mickey (my amazing mother in law) along with so many other special people.

These are just a few of the photographs I took along the way. Please support Cancer Research UK if you can, they’re doing great stuff to look after people who don’t deserve to be suffering from this bull shit disease.

Sleep can wait. Beating cancer can’t.
