Twivee Press Shots
I was contacted by Twivee‘s management team about creating a new set of press photographs that better reflected who he is as an artist — something that felt cool, authentic and relatable.
The team had been working hard on new music and wanted to make sure the visual side of the project matched the direction the music was heading in and represented his brand in the right way.
Championed by BBC Introducing, Twivee (pronounced ) is a rapper, singer, producer and mixing engineer whose music effortlessly moves between Hip Hop, RnB, Soul and electronic influences. Known for his unpredictable sound and willingness to push boundaries, BBC Introducing’s Melita Dennett once summed it up perfectly when she said, “you just never know what he’s going to do next.”
The original plan was to shoot in Brighton, but without any specific locations in mind I suggested a few spots in Hastings that I thought would suit the feel we were aiming for.
We met early one morning and spent a few hours walking between locations, keeping things relaxed and allowing the shoot to evolve naturally as we went.
Twivee was an absolute pleasure to work with. He trusted my direction, committed to the ideas and made the whole process incredibly easy, which always allows for the best images to happen.
These are a few of my favourite photographs from the session — some of which have already found their way into the press and media surrounding the new releases.
